I bought this retractable gate to keep my dog out of the kitchen when I’m busy or cooking, and it has truly been a great solution.What I like most is the retractable design: unlike traditional metal gates, it rolls up completely when not in use, so it doesn't take up much visual space or get in the way. The mesh looks durable, stays taut, and is tall enough to safely contain my pet without making the house look like a prison.Installation is straightforward, and the one-handed opening and closing mechanism is really convenient when you're carrying things. If you're looking for something that looks good, works well, and gives you control over where your dog can roam, this gate is fantastic. Highly recommended!
I love this dog gate! I have many in my other house but this one is the best! You don’t have to worry about tripping over the bottom piece with the metal gates like you do others. It is great quality.
We bought this to keep our blind dog from falling down the stairs.The screws that come with it are drywall anchors, so around 2” long for walls.I needed to mount to the wood bannister, so I had to run to home depot for a 12 pack of #8 7/8 in wood screws, worked great.Unless you have a symmetrical doorway that’s consistently sized, I would install the retractable side first and then use the latch template on the other side to make sure the screen hooks line up to the latches.
It’s easy enough to set up. Should come with a few types of screws. Retractability is decent on one and binds just slightly on the other. Lock function is nice, I would like if it had the ability to manually tighten up a little after locking. Floor mounts to secure bottom is a bit of a cheapo clunky throw in. Really dislike not being able to make this left or right mounted. Overall quality seems to be OK, but have only opened/closed them a few times to test. Their appearance is much better than a big plastic sliding gate. From a safety perspective they will work well for blocking going up the stairs but not down.
I’m the queen of baby gates and have so many different ones throughout my house. Two different gates if this style included and THIS one is the easiest to open and close and LOCK. I’m glad we got this as it was super easy to install at the top of the stairs. It keeps my kids from tumbling down. And is suitable for any type of area that you want to block off. High quality mesh that will last these crazy toddlers.((Ignore my dirty laundry on the other side of the gate… it never ends! Mom life. Hence the baby gate obsession.))

Easy to close and open with one hand once you get used to it.
It’s good in that it closes efficiently and is attractive. The only draw back ( pun intended) is the unit itself comes off the wall mount easily. So if you’re closing it in a rush out of the door, you can accidentally lift it off the mount on the wall. It’s not a big deal, you just have to be aware and slow down. Nothing to return it over. Just beware .

Have had a few of these gates and they work very well. I use them to keep larger dogs out of certain areas. Does not work for small dogs or cats as they slide under.
Works great, I wasn’t sure how to lock it at first so it was secure to the wall but it was pretty easy to figure out. It was very easy to install as well! The paper markers make installation much easier. I like the fact that if I got more wall mounts I could move the gate as well!
We really like the convenience of this gate to keep the dogs downstairs. It’s easy to open and close. Easy to install too. Worth it. I wish I’d found it sooner.
Works decent but if opened sometimes it’ll roll back up twister. Must make sure it’s locked or my dog pushes it open.
Easy to install, works very well. My dog is not pushy at all so there have been no issues, but if you have a dog still working on boundaries it will not keep them out of the room you're using this to close off. It works exactly like a roller shade and the locking mechanism is very good.
I love the ease of using this gate. But unless you pull it straight out it tends to come out of the brackets.The directions are a tad difficult to follow.
I use it to keep the dogs from wandering and it works great! I have had no issues with the retraction, and it’s tall enough to keep small- midsized dogs from jumping over, but short enough you can step over it. I do wish the bottom had a safer option for securing the screen. The screen can be moved up from the bottom even when locked. Thankfully our dogs aren’t persistent trying to come through it. I didn’t attempt the suction cup hooks included that mount to the floor because I knew I’d end up stepping on it if the gate was retracted.
Absolutely love this gate. It is so durable and clean looking. I don’t like the jail cell looking gates and this retractable feature is AMAZING. It locks so if your baby pushes into the fabric, it doesn’t go anywhere. It also comes with a lock you put in the ground as an extra security measure. The guide for wall holes was super handy and perfectly measured. We love this gate for our staircase. Very wide, too!!!

make sure you place the backets on even surfaces with your baseboards & walls, otherwise you will have a slight looseness in the netting & your munchkin will figure a way through the bottom of the gate. It was very easy to install & it looks good. The material is a good strong quality netting & once the gate is in place, make sure you lock the mechanism to ensure stability & taughtness. We got 2 of them and I will be ordering more for my son's houses for them.
These gates are great and I love the clips however I will say if you have impatient dogs, beware haha. The bottom clip of one gate did get broken due to one of my dogs thinking I had opened it alright and he actual based through it. We still use it as the top clip is still useable. Love the fabric and the locking mechanism once it’s pulled in place. Works great for my 15 month old.
